Just as the skies looked questionable, track prep and drivers worked feverishly to pack in the track after some brief downpours left things a little wet. After an extra half hour, the track was race ready for six full divisions, and just after 7 p.m. the National Anthem began. With the skies around Langlade County Speedway clearing, it was time to go racin!

110 cars checked in as Mother Nature was kind enough this week to let the rains subside by Friday morning and allow for six full divisions to compete on the half-mile at Langlade County Speedway.

Friday the 13th urban legends of bad luck will not deter racing at the Langlade County Speedway tonight in Antigo! Track officials are hard at work prepping the track and all six divisions are on the schedule for tonight. Draw cutoff is at 6:10 p.m. with racing starting at 6:30 p.m.

Langlade County Speedway gears up for the Doug Kincaid Memorial Night.

Antigo, Wi. (June 10, 2008) The Langlade County Speedway will again pay tribute to long time racing supporter, Doug Kincaid on Friday, June 27th.
The evenings events will start as we pay tribute in the missing man formation with all cars on the track for the National Anthem and Wissota Late Model driver, Todd Flannery leading the way. Kincaid was a pivotal member of the Flannery racing team.

The weekly racing events will be held this evening at the Langlade County Speedway, with the program beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Draw cutoff for all divisions is 6:10 p.m., with registration beginning at 4:45 p.m. Drivers for your convenience you can download driver information sheets right from our homepage and fill them out prior to arriving at the track.
Don't forget the weekly bike giveaway, on tap for this evenigs' intermission are two bikes that will go to some of our younger race fans, so bring the kids and make a family night out at the Langlade County Speedway.
