May 29th  we will be having our memorial week race.  I know that the 25th is the official holiday. There are a couple of things that I wanted to share with you.

1. Any member of the military with their I.D. will be free asmission to the races that night.

2. With our guard troops getting ready to go back to Iraq again, we want to set up boxes, so that the crews, drivers, and fans alike can show our support for the troops.

We would like to send the troops things to make them more comfortable as they go and defend our freedom. Being a retired vet myself, I remember the things people sent to us when I was over.

Here are a couple of ideas of items to send

batteries, paper, pens, phone cards, hard candy, puzzle books, games, hygene products,drink mixes, foot powder, and the list can go on.

We celebrate the past with Memorial day, but lets thank the people that protect outr furure as well.

Kelly, you also being a retired vet, I am asking for your help that day. This town, and this track are proud  of the troops, and wish them a safe journey…..keep your head down , and get back home!!
